Mediators and other ADR professionals will analyze and attempt to resolve complex, multi-layered problems in this intensive hands-on workshop. Fundamental Negotiation Skills LR311 Engage in a series of role plays and experiential learning situations to understand and practice fundamental negotiation skills and approaches to one-on-one, small group and collective negotiation settings in the workplace (see Page 10). Resolving Conflict CO336 Learn to identify, confront and resolve conflict (see Page 4). Training for Difficult Conversations DR148 Created for supervisors, human resource managers, directors and executives, and other professionals responsible for managing employee relations, participants gain critical skills in managing difficult conversations to constructively resolve employee disputes. Facilitation Skills Training for Conflict Management DR225 Designed for human resource professionals, managers and supervisors who help others resolve their workplace conflicts, this workshop helps participants identify when a facilitative approach is required. The program offers a structure for facilitated problem-solving discussions and provides ample opportunity to practice techniques for effective facilitation of workplace conflicts. Conflict Resolution Strategies for the Workplace DR140 This workshop trains participants to plan, design and implement workplace conflict resolution strategies. By completion, attendees understand how to design and enact strategies for resolving workplace disputes, and help mitigate future incidents. This workshop is designed for human resource executives, ADR consultants, employment attorneys, labor union leaders and entire "in-house design teams." Employment Arbitrator Training DR130 Designed for mediators and arbitrators experienced in employment law and employment relations, gain a comprehensive understanding of employment arbitration essentials, from initial appointment to issuance of the award and beyond. Upon completion, participates will have the knowledge and skills to effectively arbitrate both statutory and contractual employment claims. CLE credits, see Page 14. Employment Law and Workplace Mediation Training DR110 This intensive five-day training program equips participants with knowledge and skills essential to successful workplace mediation. Upon completion of a comprehensive blend of substantive law and education training in mediation process skills, participants are well prepared to become a qualified workplace mediator. Becoming a Mediator: The Business Plan DR220 Explore the nature of self-employment and discuss the development of your practice. With the goal of helping you build a business plan to successfully launch or effectively enhance your career as an ADR neutral, this program, for beginning, emerging or established neutrals, broadens practice and increases market potential. Ethics in ADR DR170 Ethics in Alternative Dispute Resolution improves ethical awareness and develops competency for addressing complex ethical situations. Through this workshop, gain clarity about roles and conduct, and learn techniques that can be applied in day-to-day practice. CLE credits, see Page 14.
